How much notice do you need?
As much as possible, ideally 3-6 weeks but at least one week in advance.
All bookings are heavily dependent on availability as we are a small company with a large amount of bookings.

Placing your order

If you would prefer to call our number is 07813282587. Due to my busy baking schedule I am not always able to answer the phone straight away. For a quick or urgent response please email!

When you contact us please give us as much information as possible. The following information is very helpful in ensuring your enquiry is dealt with efficiently:

1) What you would like to order, including sizing and any special requirements.
2) What date you would like your order for.

How to Pay

All orders must be paid for in full before despatched, delivered or collected – NO EXCEPTIONS!

We can accept Cash if delivered to us in person.

We can accept Cheques and these need time to clear so please allow for this when planning your order.

We can accept Bank Transfer (our preffered method of payment)

We can accept Paypal, which is an online Credit and Debit Card Payment System. You do not need a Paypal account to pay this way – we can invoice you direct where you can go onto pay as you would with any online card transaction. There is a 5% Fee if paying by Paypal.

*At this present time we DO NOT have the facilities to take any card payments by telephone*

Who are you?
My name is Rebecca, I am the owner of Rebecca’s Cakes. Each cake is made completely from scratch, by me, in my insured and health authority registered kitchen. I have 12 years experience in the food industry and am a qualified Chef by trade. To see how Rebecca’s Cakes started check out the ‘About Us

Where are you based?
Rebecca’s Cakes is run from a private home in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire (EN8). We used to be based in Enfield.

Do you have a shop where I can come and buy cakes?
No, sorry! We are a home based business and each and every cake is made to order. We do not keep any ready made products ‘on stock’ as we want to ensure every cake is fresh and tasty. We do supply a few shops, please see the Stockists page.

Do you offer delivery or can I collect from you?
We can offer delivery and set up on Wedding and Christening Cakes. Please get in touch for a quote. We prefer all other orders to be collected, but may be able to deliver depending on availability. Please note that all deliveries are subject to availability!

How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
The minimum amount of notice we need is one week.

If you have not given a weeks notice then it is less likely that we will be able to fill your order but please feel free to ask and we will try to help when possible.

We recommend giving as much notice as possible as we often get booked up 4-6 weeks in advance.

During Wedding Season and at weekends we get booked up very quickly so bookings are heavily dependant on availability.

You can place your order as far in advance as you wish.

How do I place an order?

Is there a minimum order?
In money terms, no. But some products, such as cupcakes can only been ordered in set minimum quantities.

I have an idea of something I want you to make – will you do it?
Please get in touch and I would be happy to discuss your requirements.

How long will your cakes keep?
Cupcakes – 2 Days
Layer Cakes and Loaf Cakes – 4 Days
Tray Bakes – 4 Days

Please ask for any other items and we will advise.

Can your cakes be frozen?
Most can, Yes! Ask for advice on how best to freeze when ordering.

Do you bake cakes for free from and restricted diets?
Yes! Dairy Free, Egg Free, Vegan, Soya Free, No Added Sugar, Gluten Free and Wheat Free. We are fully competent in dealing with all major free from diets and allergies.

AND….these are not just run of the mill, simple cakes – we can bake sparkly, fun, ‘normal’ tasting and great looking cakes for everyday or that special occasion!

All of our cakes are baked in the same kitchen and although we strive do all we can to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee this. Our cakes may not be suitable for those with very severe allergies.

Are your cakes suitable for nut allergy sufferers?
We use nuts in our kitchen so although we can exclude them from a recipe, we cannot guarantee anything to be nut free.

Are your cakes suitable for vegetarians?
Most of our cakes are suitable for vegetarians, with the exception of a couple that are clearly marked throughout the site. Please do let us know if you’re a veggie and we will make double-sure to leave any gelatine based decorations off your cake.

Do you hire cake stands?
We hire 8 tier acrylic cupcake stands for £25, plus a £50 security deposit. We also sell smaller disposable cardboard stands, for £8.

Can you gift wrap?
Cakes are presented in white cake boxes. We can add a coloured ribbon and a gift card for an additional £1 per box. We can also provide individual cupcake boxes, please ask for details.

Do you offer seasonal products?
Yes, these are added to the Seasonal page throughout the course of the year.

Do you have a mailing list?
For the latest news and offers keep an eye on our Facebook Profile and  Fan Page .

We have an event at our School/Club. Will you come and do a cake stall?
We would love to! This will depend on our workload so email us with details and plenty of notice!

Do you sell gift vouchers or make gift deliveries?
We sure do! Please get in touch with your requirements.

Do you sell Wholesale?
We can offer Wholesale to local shops. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Last Minute Orders

We are a small company so we need as much notice as possible for an order.

If you have left it till last minute (ooops!) and wish to enquire about a late order please do so by email only.

If you call we may not be able to get back to you straight away, therefore we ask that you enquire by email so that we can deal with the order as quickly as possible.

We ask that you try and be flexible as we may not be able to offer exactly what you need, especially so if you are trying to order for the weekend.
